Liguan Wetland Park

Liguan Wetland Park is located in the western part of Gaoqing County, at the confluence of the North Branch Xinhe River and Gan’er Pai, stretching from the West Outer Ring Road in the west to the Lixingyao Sluice in the east. The park covers a total area of 1,400 mu. The current water surface was created by excavating and expanding the original Liguan Reservoir, connecting the North Branch Xinhe River and Gan’er Pai to form a wetland water area of 950 mu, accounting for 68% of the entire wetland park. Today, the supporting facilities within Liguan Wetland are largely complete. The park is shaded by lush trees, making it a great spot for residents to relax and cool off.

Liguan Wetland Park is a highlight node of the surrounding ecological water system. This wetland park integrates functions such as ecological landscaping, water level regulation, flood control, and drainage, and has now become a beautiful scenic attraction in the western part of the urban area.
