Hezhi Zhou Hot Spring Tourism Resort features a garden-style open-air strontium-rich hot spring and the largest indoor and outdoor water entertainment facilities in Shandong. Themed around the wellness culture of hot spring bathing, it is the only hot spring tourism destination in Zibo that integrates water recreation, dining and accommodation, hot spring therapy, health care, and business conferences.

The Gaoqing hot spring is among the highest quality marine carbonate strontium-rich hot springs in the world. The concentration of strontium in the hot spring water reaches 25MG/L, which is 2.5 times the national standard for “strontium water” (nationally recognized as medical-grade strontium water when the strontium content is 10MG/L or above). It has the highest strontium content of any hot spring in Shandong Province. Strontium acts as the “steel frame” of human bones, offering anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, and anti-aging benefits. It is also an important element for treating cardiovascular and neurological diseases, while providing health benefits such as invigorating qi and strengthening the heart, enriching blood, and beautifying the skin—greatly beneficial to human health.

The Gaoqing hot spring is the mineral-richest hot spring in China.
