Qilu Liquor Culture Museum

The Qilu Liquor Culture Museum is situated in Gaoqing, the hometown of Yi Di, the progenitor of liquor, and the birthplace of China's brewing culture. It is the first museum in China themed around Qilu liquor culture. In November 2014, the museum was officially approved by the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, becoming the first registered museum in the province dedicated to showcasing Qilu liquor culture. The main building of the museum is cylindrical in shape, with a transparent dome at the top, and its three levels of exhibition halls are connected by spiral staircases and corridors.

A rotating bamboo scroll in the center of the museum narrates the history of Guojing Bandaojing. The first floor provides an overall introduction to the Guojing Liquor Culture Expo Park, the second floor mainly displays the history of Chinese liquor culture and the development of baijiu, while the third floor showcases the achievements of Guojing Bandaojing. Each exhibition hall combines cultural relics, physical objects, sculptures, calligraphy and paintings, text descriptions, and multimedia to comprehensively, vividly, authentically, systematically, and in detail interpret the rich connotations of Chinese and Qilu liquor cultures. It has been rated as a four-star science education base in Shandong Province.

The Qilu Liquor Culture Museum presents the profound cultural heritage of Chinese liquor culture, including drinking customs through the dynasties, utensils, and appreciation of calligraphy and painting art. Visiting here feels like immersing yourself in an ocean of liquor, where you can also personally experience the process of blending baijiu and taste unique-flavored liquors.
