Dianzi North Site

The Dianzi North Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Dianzi North Site is located in Tangfang Town, Gaoqing County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and the Han Dynasty. In 2013, the Dianzi North Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government.

Tangfang Town: Tangfang Town is situated in the eastern part of Gaoqing County, with the town government located 18 kilometers from Tianzhen, the county seat. It borders Jiuzhen Town and Zhao'dian Town of Gaoqing County to the north, neighbors Gaocheng Town to the south, adjoins Boxing County to the east, and is adjacent to Tianzhen (Town) to the west. It has 8,584 households.

The terrain of the town is entirely flat, slightly higher in the west than in the east. The Xinhe River in the north runs across the town for 12 kilometers. The No. 3 Branch Ditch flows from west to southeast through the town for 14 kilometers. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the area has made full use of its favorable conditions — including its crisscrossing rivers and ditches and abundant water resources — to extensively develop supporting irrigation channels, combining well and river water use.
