Dianzinan Site

The Dianzinan Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Shandong Province.

The Dianzinan Site is located in Tangfang Town, Gaoqing County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age. In 2013, the Dianzinan Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Tangfang Town: Located in the eastern part of Gaoqing County, the town government is 18 kilometers from Tianzhen, the county seat. To the north, it borders Jiuzhen Town of Binzhou City and Zhao'dian Town of Gaoqing County; to the south, it neighbors Gaocheng Town; to the east, it adjoins Boxing County; and to the west, it is adjacent to Tianzhen (Town). It has 8,584 households.

The terrain of the town is entirely flat, slightly higher in the west than in the east. The Xinhe River in the north runs across the town for 12 kilometers. The No. 3 Branch Canal flows southeast through the town from the west for 14 kilometers. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, making full use of the favorable conditions of crisscrossing rivers and abundant water sources, the town has vigorously developed an integrated canal system and combined well and river irrigation, increasing the effectively irrigated area of grain fields to 48,500 mu.
