China Textbook Museum

The China Textbook Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The China Textbook Museum is located within the Impression Qidu Cultural Industry Creative Park, invested in and built by Zibo Zhihong Education Group. The main structure of the museum is constructed from golden granite tiles featuring countless variations of the ancient Chinese character "Qi" (齐), which date from the Spring and Autumn Period to the present. The main museum serves as the starting point of the cultural corridor throughout the park and the centerpiece of the seven-star surrounding layout. The seven branch museums surrounding the main one are respectively named Dingshi (Feasting Culture), Zhuangzhou (Zhuangzi), Zuqu (Foot Fun), Taojun (Pottery Wheel), Wenshao (Music of Shao), Nishang (Colorful Attire), and Banmen (Master Builders). In the overall plan, in addition to the nine major sections including the museum complex, the youth culture and education creative experience center, the Qidu Lounge Theme Hotel, the Qiculture commercial street, and the creative industry base, Impression Qidu also features a U-shaped axis that connects the three major Qiculture landscape spines: "Business Path," "Architecture Path," and "Culture Path."

Inside the main museum building, the first floor houses the Dajie Art Museum, the second floor is the experiential textbook museum, and the third floor is the Qiculture Creative Experience Center. The oldest collection item is an old textbook published in 1862, which is extremely rare. The museum includes ten sections: New Schools Emerge, Going to School, The Home Front, New China, Commune Life, Science & Math, Learn from Workers & Farmers, Striving for the Gaokao, The New Century, and New Textbooks. These sections use scene reconstructions to present the historical background and learning environments of various eras.

The museum's operational model is not simply exhibition-based; it brings old textbooks to life through modern technology. Specially designed sections such as "Shanghai Fuzhou Road," "1970s Classroom," and "People’s Commune Cinema" create an immersive visiting atmosphere for visitors.
