Pengjia Site

The Pengjia Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Pengjia Site is located in Pengjia Village, Fangzhen Town, Zhangdian District, Zibo City, dating back to the Neolithic Age. In December 7, 2006, the Pengjia Site was designated as part of the third batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Pengjia Village: Located west of the Binbo Expressway and traversed by the Liantong Road, Pengjia Village enjoys convenient transportation and a prime location. It covers a total area of 330 square meters, has 825 households, a population of 2,346, and 84 Party members. The village has 3,000 mu of arable land and 600 mu of forested land. The per capita annual income of farmers is 11,531 yuan. There are five enterprises in the village, including Zhangdian Hongrui Timber Factory and Zhangdian Xinyuan Heating and Cooling Fan Factory. Investments have been made to build a sports and cultural plaza and purchase fitness equipment; to establish a village health cooperative medical on-site reimbursement system and open a rehabilitation center for people with disabilities; and to set up a senior activity room and install fixed trash bins...
