Qin Dongjiang Catholic Church is a Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Qin Dongjiang Catholic Church is located to the west of Qin Dongjiang Village, Binbei Subdistrict Office, Bincheng District. It is the best-preserved Western-style building in Bincheng District. Constructed in 1940 under the direction of American priest Father Si Daoyuan, the church originally covered an area of over 30 acres with more than 130 rooms. It served as the Catholic cathedral for the Bin County region and had significant influence on the surrounding areas. The surviving structures include the main hall and auxiliary buildings on the north and south sides. The main hall is 40 meters long from east to west and 11 meters wide from north to south, with patterned stained-glass windows and doors. Symmetrically arranged along the north and south sides of the hall are eight flat-roofed rooms with corridors. These rooms feature wooden flooring and are highly distinctive — the southern side was used by priests, while the northern side was for nuns. The church is still in use by the local parish today. In 2012, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit by the Binzhou Municipal People’s Government. In October 2013, it was listed as part of the fourth group of Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Shandong Provincial People’s Government.

Binbei Subdistrict: Binbei Subdistrict is located 12 kilometers north of the Bincheng District government seat in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. It lies south of the Yellow River and north of Zhanhua County, Shandong Province, covering a total area of 161.1 square kilometers. The subdistrict administers 154 administrative villages with a total population of 82,000, including 24,000 urban residents. Historically, Binbei Subdistrict was the site of the ancient Binzhou city, which served as the seat of Bohai County during the Tang Dynasty. During the Later Zhou Dynasty of the Five Dynasties period, Binzhou was established here as a prefectural seat. In 1913, the prefecture was changed to a county, making it the seat of Bin County.
