The Ten-Li Lotus Pond Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a key lotus culture leisure and sightseeing belt developed by Bincheng District, as well as one of the major projects under development along the Yellow River. The area is committed to establishing a "demonstration zone for modern agricultural development," a "leisure and entertainment tourism belt," and an "ecological landscape belt along the Yellow River." By utilizing the original scattered lotus ponds and adapting to the natural terrain, the scenic area has expanded the contiguous lotus pond area to 1,200 mu. It has introduced 80 varieties of ornamental lotus totaling over 260,000 plants, including Baiyangdian Red Lotus, Bozhong Yueying, and Xiaofeng Liangyue. During the blooming season, visitors are treated to the breathtaking scene of "endless green lotus leaves stretching to the sky and lotus blossoms glowing red under the sun." In addition, the scenic area has installed wooden boardwalks, waterwheels, watchtowers, and sky bridges around the ponds, built a visitor service center, a Lotus Fairy sculpture, and a musical fountain square. Sightseeing mini-trains, boats, and bicycles are also available. A thousand-mu sea of flowers has been planted and landscaped, allowing residents to enjoy the lotus ponds and flower fields in various ways. The area offers a range of leisure and entertainment services, as well as specialty dining options for the public.
