The Nanwangcan Ancient Kiln Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Nanwangcan Ancient Kiln Site is located southwest of Nanwangcan Village, Mingji Township, Lijin County. The site stretches 1,500 meters from north to south and 1,000 meters from east to west, covering an area of approximately 1.5 million square meters. It was discovered in 1975 during the excavation of the Chuguan River. Beneath 4 meters of surface soil, there are five kilns, two of which are relatively well-preserved. The unearthed artifacts are made of sandy clay in reddish-gray pottery, including general’s helmets, urn coffins, dou stands, and pottery jars. The site has been identified as an ancient kiln complex dating back to the Eastern Zhou and Warring States periods. In 1992, it was designated as a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Mingji Township: Located in the western part of the county, Mingji Township is 9.7 kilometers from the county seat and governs 31 natural villages and 38 villagers' committees. It has a total of 6,071 households and a population of 18,643, including 9,340 males and 9,303 females, with 806 non-agricultural residents.
