Lijin Yellow River Ecological Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Lijin Yellow River Ecological Park is a tourist attraction primarily developed around the landscape of the Yellow River’s flood prevention structures, exuding the rich cultural charm of the lower reaches of the Yellow River. The park combines the natural beauty of the Yellow River with artificial features such as harbors and docks, wooded meadows, cultivated fields and vegetable plots, fish ponds and orchards, farmhouses and thatched cottages, as well as classic landscaping features — together forming a uniquely scenic area that showcases the grandeur and majesty of the Yellow River and the remarkable human endeavor in taming and benefiting from it. The entire park is themed around "the Yellow River, culture, and local charm."

Visiting the Yellow River Ecological Park, you can not only see one of the “Eight Ancient Scenic Spots of Lijin” — “Dawn Ferry at Dongjin,” but also enjoy sights from the “New Eight Scenic Spots of the Yellow River,” such as “Listening to the Waves in the Orchard,” “Spring Waves in the Morning Light,” “Fishing by the Bay,” and “Moonlight over the Lotus Pond.” The Yellow River Ecological Park stretches 27.5 kilometers from the Gongjia Yellow River Diversion Sluice in Lijin County in the south to the Wangzhuang Diversion Sluice in the north, covering a planned total area of nearly 20,000 mu. Relying on the natural ecological resources of the Yellow River, it forms a spatial layout of “one belt and six nodes” and presents the image positioning of “embracing eight Yellow River views and touring an ecological gallery.” The “one belt” refers to the ecological leisure and sightseeing belt extending from the Gongjia Diversion Sluice to the Wangzhuang Diversion Sluice. The “six nodes” are the Yellow River Poetry Garden, Yellow River Bathing Beach, Yellow River Dock, Guanlan Garden, Lijin Hydrological Station, and Longmen Bay. Among them, the Yellow River Poetry Garden mainly features stone carvings of poems about the Yellow River and sculptures of poets along the Gongjia Dangerous Section, and also develops the Pear Orchard Listening to the Waves landscape based on the Dongpan Orchard; the Yellow River Bathing Beach mainly utilizes the natural depressions in the Zhangtan Dangerous Section, which are appropriately modified and developed for clear-water bathing, mud bathing, and children’s pottery-making activities; the Yellow River Dock is mainly built on the site of the original shipping port to create a Yellow River rafting dock; the Guanlan Garden is the core area of the Yellow River Ecological Park, with planned sections including a riverside viewing area, a fitness and leisure area under the woods, a fishing and dining area, and a farmhouse experience area, creating landscapes such as Morning Light Spring Waves, Yellow River Homes, Dawn Ferry at Dongjin, and Traces of the Wild Immortals; the Lijin Hydrological Station leverages its uniqueness as the last hydrological station on the Yellow River to offer activities such as hydrological measurement and zip-lining; Longmen Bay focuses on the Wangzhuang Diversion Sluice to create two major landscapes: Holy Water Bathing in Spring and the Yellow Dragon Entering the Sea.

The Yellow River Poetry Garden mainly features stone carvings of poems about the Yellow River, sculptures of poets, and outdoor training activities at the Gongjia Dangerous Section; Golden Beach Countryside mainly plants various fruit trees, vegetables, and other crops in the 5-kilometer stretch of the Yellow River floodplain north of the Gongjia Sluice to create the Pear Orchard Listening to the Waves landscape; the Yellow River Happy Land mainly utilizes the natural depressions in the Zhangtan Dangerous Section, which are organized and modified to build a Yellow River dock, a clay sculpture museum, a lotus pond, and more, offering activities such as Yellow River rafting, Yellow River bathing, boating, eco-cuisine, and children’s pottery-making; the Yellow River Riverside is the core area of the Yellow River Ecological Park, with planned sections including a riverside viewing area, a fitness and leisure area under the woods, a fishing and dining area, and a farmhouse experience area, creating landscapes such as Morning Light Spring Waves, Yellow River Homes, Dawn Ferry at Dongjin, and Traces of the Wild Immortals; the Lijin Hydrological Station leverages its uniqueness as the last hydrological station on the Yellow River to offer activities such as hydrological measurement and zip-lining; Longmen Bay focuses on the Wangzhuang Diversion Sluice to create two major landscapes: Holy Water Bathing in Spring and the Yellow Dragon Entering the Sea.
