Haojia Green Ecological Sightseeing Park A national AA-level tourist attraction, it boasts beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. Located in the western suburbs of Dongying City, it has successfully hosted five Grape Culture Tourism Festivals and enjoys a certain level of recognition locally. The park spans a total planned area of 12,000 mu, covering nine administrative villages, and focuses on developing high-efficiency, ecological, and specialty planting, as well as organizing rural and eco-tourism activities. Villagers in Xuejia, Gengjia, and Songsha, among others within the park, have over 20 years of experience in growing grapes, greenhouse vegetables, and field vegetables. Through a series of pro-farmer policies such as enhanced training, technical services, and financial support, the local government has guided residents to expand planting scale, improve crop varieties, and engage in deep processing to increase added value and extend the industrial chain. Among these, grape cultivation covers over 1,000 mu with a well-balanced mix of early-, mid-, and late-season varieties. In 2011, the per-mu net income exceeded 8,000 yuan. The “Lehaojia” brand of homemade pure natural wine, registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, sells well. Meanwhile, Gengjia Village has been re-evaluated and continues to be recognized as a provincial-level pollution-free vegetable base, with its “Lehaojia” pollution-free vegetables also registered. A comprehensive framework for the development of leisure agriculture has taken initial shape, with the capacity and standards to receive around 100,000 visitors annually.
