The Dongying Modern Fishery Demonstration Zone Leisure Fishery Demonstration Park is a provincial-level leisure fishery park in Shandong Province. Located within the Dongying Modern Fishery Demonstration Zone, it is under the jurisdiction of Kenli County, Dongying City. It borders the Kendong Seawall to the east, extends to the Dongying Coastal Scenic Road to the west, is about 30 kilometers from downtown Dongying to the south, 15 kilometers from the Dawenliu Nature Reserve to the north, and just 15 minutes from Dongying Airport, offering convenient transportation. The park is situated in the overlapping area of two major national strategies—the Yellow River Delta and the Bohai Sea Economic Zone—boasting significant locational advantages. It enjoys the water resources of both the Yellow River and the Bohai Sea, with abundant marine and freshwater supplies. It also has rich geothermal and wind energy resources, providing ample energy support for development. The park is rich in marine resources, primarily including sea cucumbers, swimming crabs, and Chinese shrimp.

Currently, Dongying is developing a new coastal tourism route connecting Dongying Port, the 200-kilometer Coastal Scenic Road, and the Yellow River estuary landscape. The park lies on the only route from downtown Dongying to the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve, serving as the most important transportation corridor linking the urban civilization characterized by the "Yellow River Water City" and the natural landscapes centered around the Yellow River estuary. It offers excellent tourism resources.

Major ongoing and planned projects in the park include a leisure fishing area, a hot spring resort area, a conference center, and unique landscape facilities. The leisure fishing area mainly features garden-style aquaculture ponds, fishing docks, and cruise ship docks. The ponds mainly breed sea cucumbers, shrimp, shellfish, and various fish species, offering visitors experiences such as sightseeing, fishing, boating, diving, shell collecting, and dining. The hot spring resort area mainly includes a geothermal wellness center, hot spring resort hotels, a cluster of leisure villas, landscape gardens, and supporting facilities. The conference center will be a large-scale exhibition and convention facility integrating offices, accommodation, dining, entertainment, and more, capable of hosting conferences, exhibitions, public events, hotel stays, and recreational activities.

Currently, one garden-style aquaculture pond has been completed in the park, temporarily housing species such as perch and barramundi for leisure fishing. Holiday business hotels and clusters of leisure villas, among other hot spring resort facilities, are under construction. Additionally, main roads such as the east-west trunk road and the north-south trunk road ensure smooth traffic within the park. The 20-acre Fishery R&D Center is equipped with infrastructure such as warehouses, office buildings, staff dormitories, and dining halls, creating favorable working conditions.

Self-driving Guide:

Self-driving visitors can take the Dongqing Expressway, exit at the Dongying North Entrance (Beier Road), then drive east along Beier Road to Dongba Road and turn left. Continue north along Dongba Road to Hongguang Avenue and turn right to reach the destination. The drive from the highway exit to the site is approximately 35 kilometers and takes about 30 minutes.
