Liu Family Site

The Liu Family Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Liu Family Site is located in Dongji Town, Kenli County. It dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties. In 2013, the Liu Family Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Dongji Town: Dongji Township is located in the southwestern part of Kenli County. To the east, it borders Dongying District; to the west, it faces Lijin County across the river; to the south, it connects with Haojia Town; and to the north, it adjoins Shengtuo Town. The township covers an area of 66.7 square kilometers, with 47,000 mu of cultivated land. It governs 33 administrative villages, with 6,010 households and a population of 20,189. In 2003, the gross domestic product reached 84.5 million yuan, local fiscal revenue was 4.8 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3,006 yuan.
