Weihao Ecological Park

Weihao Ecological Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Established in May 2009, Weihao Ecological Park is a highly efficient ecological demonstration zone integrating vegetable cultivation, livestock breeding, seedling cultivation, agricultural experience, and leisure activities. It is one of the top ten high-efficiency ecological science education demonstration bases in Shandong Province. In 2015, it was awarded the title of “National Organic Food Production Base” by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China. On November 26, 2018, it was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction. In 2018, it was also recognized as a research and study travel base for primary and secondary schools in Kenli District.

Located in the Yellow River floodplain area, Weihao Ecological Park cultivates over 100,000 various flowers and seedlings, including white elm, garden round-leaved elm; rare tree species such as the “tallest in Dongying” Chinese ash, red tip photinia, hackberry, lobed elm, and Chinese fir, as well as over 200 acres of precious species like autumn cherry wax tree, round-crowned elm, and century-old ginkgo trees.
