Xinglong Ecological Forest Farm is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Xinglong Ecological Forest Farm is a national AAA-level tourist attraction, with a total planned area of 15,000 mu. Located about 15 kilometers from Kenli District, it enjoys convenient transportation. Its inherent geographical advantages and natural environment have established Xinglong Ecological Forest Farm as the "central garden" of Dongying City.

The scenic area of Xinglong Ecological Forest Farm and its surrounding regions have developed two major distinctive ecological resources: one is 7,000 mu of forest land (including 4,000 mu of public welfare forest, 1,800 mu of orchard, and 1,200 mu of nursery), and the other is 8,000 mu of ecological wetland (including 3,500 mu of wetland, 2,000 mu of lotus root fields, and 2,500 mu of water surface). These ecological resources integrate with the city's Jinhu Galaxy Ecological Area and the Garden Expo Park, forming the largest ecological barrier in the northern part of the central urban area and an important suburban leisure belt. The entire area is divided into eastern and western sections by East Second Road. The eastern section features tourism resources such as RV camping, natural wetlands, ecological public welfare forests, and rosewood carving exhibitions. The western section offers lotus root deep processing, fishing, agritainment, and a variety of fruits including apples, pears, peaches, grapes, and winter jujubes... Visiting here from March to October each year, you can stroll along the over 2,000-meter-long characteristic wooden boardwalk sightseeing corridor and enjoy the fun of fruit picking.

Stepping into Xinglong Forest Farm, you are embraced by green trees and flowing clear water. Standing on the landscape boardwalk, you can experience recreational activities in the living water. The forest trails, winding and serene, keep you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The most worthwhile destination is the Dongying Lehuo Forest Camping Site, located in the eastern section of the forest farm. Relying on the beautiful ecological environment and natural scenery of the wetland, it has become Dongying’s first RV campsite.

The campsite features two RV lifestyle experience areas, 20 tent pitching platforms, one special activity square, and many children’s entertainment facilities. It is the top choice for suburban tourism, experiencing outdoor life, and enjoying family fun. Of course, Shengyuan Agritainment in the western section of the forest farm is also highly recommended, where you can taste a unique all-lotus-root banquet. Around July each year, by the lotus root ponds, endless blooms of lotus flowers compete to open, filling the air with their fragrant scent—a breathtaking view that captivates visitors.
