Dezhou Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area

The Dezhou Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area is a national-level wetland park.

The Dezhou Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area is an ecological wetland demonstration project in the Haihe River Basin approved by the National Haihe River Commission. The first phase of the project invested 210 million yuan and spans a total length of 4.5 kilometers. The entire project is divided into four major parts: sewage treatment, water body landscape, wetland landscape, and sightseeing & fruit picking. With wetlands as the main focus and landscapes as supplementary, it is divided from south to north into functional wetland areas, landscape wetland areas, and natural ecological protection zones. During the construction of the Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area, the concept of "treatment, utilization, and conservation" has always been upheld, with a particular emphasis on the key aspect of "conservation." While achieving water purification, it has also improved the ecological environment and realized harmony between humans and nature. Currently, over 1.1 million seedlings of various types have been planted in the Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area, creating a natural landscape that remains green all year round and blooms and bears fruit for three seasons. In the future, the Economic Development Zone Management Committee will continue to advance the construction of the second phase of the Jianhe Wetland Scenic Area, extending 6.5 kilometers south from the Dongfeng Road Jianhe Bridge. Additionally, the water system connectivity project connecting Shaowang River, Jianhe River, and Chahe River has already commenced construction.
