China Solar Valley Scenic Area

The China Solar Valley Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Situated in the Economic Development Zone of Dezhou City, China’s Solar City, it was the venue of the 2010 World Solar City Congress. It is the world’s only production, manufacturing, research, and tourism center dedicated to solar thermal utilization, also serving as a national AAAA-level industrial tourism destination. China Solar Valley is the country’s first solar-themed park, featuring five world-class renewable energy centers and ten major solar-powered buildings. Covering an area of 5,000 acres, the scenic zone showcases a variety of energy-efficient buildings that integrate solar power with other sustainable technologies, earning it the reputation as a “green city template for the 21st century.” It houses the Green Five-Star Sun Valley Low-Carbon International Hotel and a Seven-Star theme park-style hotel; the Solar Museum & Science & Technology Museum that preserves solar culture and outlines the future blueprint of solar energy development; the world’s longest Photovoltaic Avenue, the Sun Valley Gate that comprehensively utilizes solar technology, the Sun Valley Cultural Street, the Renewable Energy Theme Park, and the Tiandi Hot Springs.
