Dezhou Zoo and Botanical Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Established on February 29, 2016, Dezhou Zoo and Botanical Garden was invested and built by Dezhou Zoo Co., Ltd. The park is located in the southern ecological zone of Dezhou City, north of the South Ring Road, west of the Jianhe River, near Guozili Village in Xinhua Subdistrict, covering an area of 681 acres. It serves a population of 30 million and can accommodate over 1.2 million visitors annually. It is the largest comprehensive park in northwestern Shandong that integrates wildlife education, scientific research, conservation, and sightseeing. The park primarily features three themed areas: a botanical garden, a zoo, and an amusement park. Officially opened to the public on October 1, 2016, the park has welcomed over 200,000 visitors and generated nearly 40 million yuan in tourism revenue since its opening.
