Qingfeng Tower Square is named after Qingfeng Tower. Built in 1995 and modeled after the ancient "Qingfeng Tower" of historical Cangzhou, the tower serves both as a scenic landmark and a regional high point, enhancing the city’s cultural character and marking a milestone in Cangzhou’s urban development. Qingfeng Tower Square was built in August 2000, with a total construction area of 14,000 square meters, including 8,500 square meters of green space. The square consists mainly of a musical fountain, paved areas, and landscaped gardens, together with Qingfeng Tower forming a beautiful riverside vista on the west side of the canal.

A visit to Qingfeng Tower Square is not complete without ascending Qingfeng Tower. From this five-story, classical-style building, one can admire the unique urban landscape of Cangzhou. A jade-like ribbon of water flows from south to north, and not far away, the shimmering blue waters of South Lake sparkle under the shade of trees, rolling hills, and building reflections, blending into a symphony of sights. To the south of Qingfeng Tower lies Qingfeng Tower Square, enveloped in lush greenery that is surprisingly well-ordered when viewed from above — varying shades of light and dark green form distinct, multi-sized scenic zones.
