There are a total of 11 bridges along the Tainan Canal. The Public Works Bureau has installed nighttime LED light sculptures that use landscape lighting effects to enhance the canal’s evening scenery, while also highlighting the unique features of each bridge through LED light displays. Currently, the canal bridge light sculptures are illuminated daily from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

The 11 bridges not only connect transportation at both ends of the canal but are also urban landmarks and scenic highlights. The addition of nighttime light sculptures makes Tainan’s nights even more dazzling.

The best way to enjoy these bridge light sculptures is to view them head-on from the canal. In collaboration with sightseeing cruise companies operating on the canal, during the National Day holiday period (October 10–13, 4 days), an additional “Tainan Canal Cruise – China City Starlight Route” Night Owl cruise will be added daily at 9:00 PM, with all tickets offered at half price as a special National Day holiday promotion.

A total of 100 seats are available across the 4 flights. Registration is now open by phone with the operator, on a first-come, first-served basis until full.
