Cangzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

Cangzhou Martyrs' Cemetery is located on Guangrong Road, Yunhe District, Cangzhou City. In 1947, in order to contain the Nationalist forces in North China and support the summer offensive of the Northeast Democratic Allied Forces, the Central Military Commission decided to launch the Qing-Cang Campaign, with the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region as the main force, supported by troops from the Central Hebei Military Region, the Chahar Military Region, and the Shandong Bohai Military Region, aiming to eliminate enemy forces along over 80 kilometers of railway from Qing County to Cang County south of Tianjin. The campaign was commanded by Luo Ruiqing, Yang Dezhi, and Yang Chengwu, lasted four days and nights, and resulted in the annihilation of more than 13,000 Nationalist troops, security police, and homecoming militias. It liberated three county towns—Qing County, Cang County, and Yongqing—and connected the two major liberated areas of Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei and Shandong. To commemorate the martyrs who fell in the Qing-Cang Campaign, the cemetery was first built in 1958, covering an area of 53,000 square meters with a construction area of 2,550 square meters. Facilities include a reception hall, an exhibition hall for the Qing-Cang Campaign, an exhibition hall for notable martyrs, the Qing-Cang Campaign Memorial Monument, statues of notable martyrs, a martyrs' columbarium, and a martyrs' cemetery. The cemetery is recognized as a national defense education base in Hebei Province, a provincial-level martyrs' memorial facility protection unit in Hebei Province, and a patriotic education base in Hebei Province.
