Cangzhou Museum is a patriotism education base.

Cangzhou Museum is located in the north building of the City Culture and Art Center on Fuyang Avenue, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. It opened on December 30, 2002. The museum currently has four exhibition halls with a total usable area of 2,100 square meters, including one cultural relics exhibition hall, one premium exhibition hall, and two multi-function halls. The cultural relics hall is simple and elegant, showcasing the crystallization of wisdom of the ancient working people of Cangzhou; the premium hall and multi-function halls can host various exhibitions of different sizes and formats to meet the diverse cultural needs of the public.

The museum currently has three permanent exhibitions: “Historical Relics of Cangzhou,” “Famous Historical Figures of Cangzhou,” and “Developing Cangzhou,” which respectively display historical relics unearthed in Cangzhou over the years, outstanding figures in Cangzhou’s history, and the achievements in various fields of economy and culture in Cangzhou since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.

Cangzhou Museum serves as the regional center for cultural relics collection, preservation, research, and exhibition in Cangzhou. It is a platform showcasing the city’s 6,000 to 7,000 years of history, an important window for international cultural exchange, and a base for patriotism education.
