Jinan Shuiliangxia Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinan Shuiliangxia Scenic Area is located in Liubu Town, Licheng District, Jinan City. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national geopark, a national forest park, a creative base of the Shandong Photographers Association, and the largest wedding outdoor photography base in Jinan.

The scenic area spans both Jinan and Tai’an and is the largest pristine landscape tourism area in Jinan. It is known for its high mountains, perilous gorges, mountain springs, waterfalls, unique Taishan rocks, and freshwater jellyfish (Craspedacusta). It features Jinan’s highest peak, largest canyon, and the province’s largest natural waterfall cluster. As the water conservation area for Spring City Jinan, it is honored as the “Summit of Spring City, Source of Baotu Spring.”

The scenic area combines the grandeur of northern landscapes with the elegance of southern gardens. It is thoughtfully divided into five functional zones: entertainment and leisure, water charm and unique rocks, ecological wellness, religious culture, and outdoor adventure. It serves as a paradise for sightseeing, leisure, dining, accommodation, and conference hosting—a perfect destination for water fun and summer retreat.

Public Transportation:

Take bus 67 from downtown Jinan and get off at the terminal stop, Lijiatang, then walk 5 kilometers south;

Take bus 812 and get off at the Shuiliangxia stop;

Take the Shuiliangxia tourist shuttle bus directly from the Jinan Tourism Distribution Center under the Yanshan Overpass.

Self-Driving Directions:

From downtown Jinan, take National Highway 103 to Liubu Town, continue to Lijiatang, and drive 5 kilometers south to reach the scenic area.

Parking Information:

Parking area in front of the scenic area gate, covering approximately 8,000 square meters.
