Qinquan

Located on the southern slope of Kuhongyu in Yuanhongyu, north of Liubu Town, Qinquan gets its name from the gentle babble of the spring, which at night, in the stillness, sounds like the notes of a zither. The water emerges from the southern cliff face. Today, the spring eye is enclosed under a shelter, and the water flows from a square outlet into a stone-carved pool shaped like a pipa. The pool is about 20 meters long, with the widest point being 15 meters. The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding green trees and wildflowers cast reflections on the surface, creating a picturesque scene reminiscent of an elegant ink painting. A poet from the Qianlong era, Zhuang Tong, once wrote: “Why seek sages or old tunes? Here, high mountains and flowing waters offer their own clear melodies.”
