Shanqing World

Shanqing World is a youth education and practice base in Shandong Province, constructed and managed by the Shandong Provincial Youth Activity Center under the commission of the Communist Youth League Shandong Provincial Committee. Located in Liubu Town, Licheng District, Jinan City, it covers a total area of 960 acres. Nestled against mountains and beside water, Shanqing World boasts the beautiful Listening Spring Mountain stretching across the southern part of the park and the clear Jinyang River flowing through the entire grounds. It enjoys convenient transportation and picturesque scenery.

Shanqing World carries the important mission of fostering the healthy growth of young people. The park is divided into five major functional areas based on the needs of youth practical activities: the Happy Base Camp Zone, the Youth Quality Development Zone, the Holiday Farming Practice Zone, the Science & Technology Imagination Zone, and the Forest Adventure Zone. Each zone has distinct educational objectives and offers different modes of participation for youths — from observation to hands-on practice and then to self-challenge — ultimately aiming to shape a healthy mind and body, develop comprehensive abilities, and help achieve a new sense of self. In addition, the park also features a covered sports court, a fishing garden, a pastoral barbecue area, and a small petting zoo.

Leveraging its natural mountain and water scenery and maximizing its resource advantages, Shanqing World has created a distinctive landscape environment. With quality education as its core theme, it serves as a base for youth ideological and moral education, traditional Chinese culture dissemination, and international youth cultural exchange. It offers quality education programs to youths from both within and outside the province.
