Rainbow Lake Park broke ground on December 10, 2010. The park stretches approximately 700 meters from north to south and 450 meters from east to west, covering a total area of about 465 acres. With self-raised funds exceeding 40 million yuan, the park makes full use of rainwater and reclaimed water resources and relies on plant landscaping. Over 300,000 cubic meters of spoil and rock were cleared from the site; 3,710 meters of park pathways were built, covering a total area of 28,000 square meters; 17 plazas in various forms occupy 35,000 square meters; nearly 300 species of plants were planted, totaling over 300,000 trees and shrubs. These include valuable species such as fringe tree, as well as large trees like wingnut, persimmon, cedar, and ginkgo. Flowering shrubs include lilac, crabapple, and redbud. The green coverage area reaches 163,400 square meters. The park’s 110,000-square-meter water surface features good water quality, lush aquatic plants, and habitats for waterfowl.

Rainbow Lake Park is the first ecological park in our city funded by private capital, representing a new attempt and innovation in urban public welfare construction and services. Integrating leisure, entertainment, and fitness, the park plays a significant role in improving the urban ecological environment of the High-Tech Zone, enhancing the urban image of the Suncun New District, boosting its appeal, developing service industries, creating growth points, and especially in fostering a favorable investment environment.
