The former site of the Shandong Provincial Administration Commission (including the former Imperial Examination Hall) is located in Quancheng Road Subdistrict, Lixia District, Jinan City, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the former site of the Shandong Provincial Administration Commission (including the former Imperial Examination Hall) was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Quancheng Road Subdistrict: The Quancheng Road Subdistrict Office is situated in the city center of Jinan. Established in July 1990, it is named after Quancheng Road within its jurisdiction. Covering a total area of 1.27 square kilometers, it borders Daming Lake to the north, Baotu Spring to the west, Quancheng Square to the south, and is traversed by the bustling Quancheng Road. It serves as the city’s commercial and tourism hub, as well as the location of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government. The subdistrict governs seven community resident committees, with a total population of 16,618 people, 6,525 households, and a birth rate of 6.28‰.
