The Jinan Parachute Tower is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Jinan Parachute Tower is located in Baotuquan Subdistrict, Lixia District, Jinan City, and was built in 1956.

On October 10, 2013, the Jinan Parachute Tower was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Baotuquan Subdistrict: The Baotuquan Subdistrict Office is located in the city center. It was established in December 1962 and is named after the famous Baotu Spring within its jurisdiction. It stretches from Huan Cheng Park in the north to the Party School of the Jinan Municipal Committee, the Nanyuan Hotel, and the Shandong Building in the south; from Chaoshan Street and Shungeng Road in the east to Nanxin Street, where it connects with the downtown area of Lixia District in the west. The subdistrict covers a total area of 1.64 square kilometers, governs 4 community residents' committees, has 10,385 households, and a total population of 42,631. The birth rate is 4.8‰ and the natural growth rate is 0.51‰. There are over 600 central, provincial, and municipal government agencies, colleges and universities, and enterprises and institutions located here.
