The Shandong Ruiguan Flower and Tree Demonstration Park covers a total area of 160 mu, primarily distributed on both the north and south sides of Yingbin Avenue (the section within Laima Town), about a fifteen-minute drive from the city center. The demonstration park has a total investment of 54 million yuan and has constructed six high-end Venlo-style greenhouses in two phases, totaling 60,000 square meters. Over the years, the demonstration park has leveraged Xinzhuang’s excellent location and transportation advantages, seized the favorable opportunity and preferential policies provided by the Xinzhuang Town Government to build a 10,000-mu flower and tree base, and achieved fast and high-quality development through scientific planning and high-standard construction.

The park focuses on industrial development while also considering landscape effects, establishing itself as the largest flower and tree planting, cultivation, trading, and distribution hub in the city, an important center in central Shandong, a bonsai and gardening exchange and exhibition center, as well as the “Hometown of Flowers and Trees in Shandong” and an “Agritourism Destination.” It strives to achieve an organic unity between the overall layout and individual details.

Since 2010, the park has successfully hosted the “Prosperous Times Orchid Exhibition — Meet in Steel City,” also known as the China (Laiwu · Gangcheng) Orchid Conference and the “Shandong Ruiguan Cup” Orchid Expo for three consecutive years. Each year, it attracts tens of thousands of flower enthusiasts from over ten provinces and cities across the country to participate and exhibit, generating a positive impact. The demonstration park began operations in March 2010. Thanks to its superior environment, standardized management, and broad market, it has attracted more than 30 flower dealers from across the country, including Fujian, Sichuan, and Linyi within the province, as well as over 180 operating households. It offers over 1,000 varieties of flowers and trees, including orchids, hibiscus, phalaenopsis, and the healthy tree species yew.
