Xinzhuang Town is located in the easternmost part of Laiwu City, featuring numerous mountains, gorges, and bodies of water. It is home to the state-owned Jimu Mountain Forest Farm, Qiaodian Reservoir, and Yangjiahuang Reservoir. The area is crisscrossed with ravines, covered with lush pines and cypresses, and dotted with undulating mountain ridges, boasting a forest coverage rate of 90%. Over 5 million yuan has been invested to build more than 100 kilometers of roads, nearly 10 million yuan has been used to plant around 3 million various types of greening trees, and 80 million yuan has been invested to construct a 10,000-mu flower and seedling base.

Since its launch in 2009, the Chengling Rural Tourism Project has leveraged the village’s natural landscape advantages to develop over ten scenic spots, more than 20 “farmhouse stay” accommodations, and a 200-mu “Happy Farm,” establishing the first uniquely styled rural tourism destination in Laiwu. Other scenic areas currently under development and nearing completion include Ye Ren Valley, Golden Rooster Gorge, Reunion Slope, Fuzhaike, and Xuanche Gou. The Laiwu Battle Command Post Red Tourism Project, located in Shiwanzii Village of the town, is actively being negotiated by two investors from Shenzhen and Laiwu for large-scale development. In line with the overall tourism development strategy of Xinzhuang, the town has planned a one-day Xinzhuang tour itinerary, established a Xinzhuang Town Tourism Reception Center, and coordinated with major travel agencies and scenic spots.
