The former site of Shandong Xinhua Foundry is a protected cultural heritage site of Jinan City.

The former site of Shandong Xinhua Foundry is located in Wenyuan Subdistrict, Gangcheng District. Dating back to 1966, it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative building.

On June 28, 2018, the former site of Shandong Xinhua Foundry was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site under the protection of Jinan City.

Wenyuan Subdistrict: Huangzhuang Town, the birthplace of the Mouwen River, is under the jurisdiction of Gangcheng District, Laiwu City, Shandong Province. It borders Yiyuan to the east and Xintai to the south, covering a total area of 100 square kilometers. The town administers 41 administrative villages (residential communities) with a total population of 58,000, including 32,000 registered residents. Huangzhuang enjoys a superior geographical location, with relatively concentrated people and logistics flow, well-developed infrastructure, and convenient transportation and communication. It was the first in the city to achieve asphalt roads in every village and has entered a new stage of rapid development, making it a key development area in Gangcheng.
