Nanweishi Village in Chaye Kou Town is located within the Longshan Scenic Area and has successively been awarded honors such as Municipal Ecological Civilization Village, Provincial Sanitary Village, and Provincial Civilized Village.

Nanweishi Village utilizes the unique tourism resources of the Longshan Scenic Area within its territory and emphasizes the development of eco-tourism. First, it enhances afforestation on barren hills to improve the ecological environment. Increased investment has been made through methods such as contracting to large-scale operators and reward-based subsidies to continuously green barren hills and promote contiguous afforestation according to local conditions, achieving a forest coverage rate of 70% in the entire village. Meanwhile, efforts have been accelerated to build water system forest networks, road forest networks, and farmland forest networks to enhance ecological service functions. Second, it develops tourism to improve the ecological environment. Seizing opportunities, Nanweishi Village, adhering to the principles of "resource sharing, benefit sharing, and win-win cooperation," jointly developed the Longshan Scenic Area with Jinlai Group. The village committee leased over 800 acres of hillside land to Jinlai Group for tourism development through secondary transfer. The project plans a total investment of 160 million yuan to create a national 3A-level tourist scenic area themed around "longevity," "filial piety," and "dragon" culture.

As of now, more than 70 million yuan has been invested to develop and construct over 20 attractions including Lingyun Temple, Zoo, Osmanthus Garden, Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Longshan Tea Garden. The area has successfully hosted four Folk Culture Festivals, four National Masters’ Painting and Calligraphy Exhibitions, and three Mountain Climbing Festivals, infusing a rich cultural atmosphere into Longshan. The Longshan Scenic Area has now taken initial shape, receiving 150,000 visitors annually, generating tourism revenue of over 1 million yuan, and providing employment for more than 100 surplus rural laborers.
