Located on the western foothills of Kunshan Mountain in Yinzhen Town, Dongping County, it is a temple building. The temple faces south with its entrance to the west, covering an area of about 3,000 square meters. Within the temple grounds are the Mahavira Hall, scripture depository, side halls, and rear hall, arranged in a double-courtyard layout. The Mahavira Hall faces south, spans three bays, is 7.4 meters deep, and 8 meters high, with a raised-beam wooden structure, a hip-and-gable roof covered with gray tiles, and a ridge adorned with brick carvings of two dragons playing with a pearl and floral patterns. In the courtyard, there is a fully stone-built bell tower from the seventh year of the Wanli era in the Ming Dynasty, standing 4.5 meters tall with a four-cornered pyramidal roof, as well as a small Xiaoxuguan Pagoda from the Song Dynasty, also entirely made of stone, 3.5 meters high with a tiled ridge roof—both exquisitely crafted. There are also several stone steles and cliff inscriptions, which serve as important historical materials for studying the regionally distinctive "Dongyuan Culture." Kunshan Yueyan Temple is a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit.

Yinzhen Town is located at the border of Shandong and Henan provinces, at the junction of Dongping, Yanggu, Taiqian, and Liangshan counties.
