The Ancient City of Yanggu Yi is located in the southern part of Jiuxian Township, Dongping County, Shandong Province, to the east of Wanggudian Village. It is a heritage site from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, stretching approximately 500 meters from east to west and over 100 meters from north to south, with a cultural layer nearly 5 meters thick. The cultural layer contains a wealth of artifacts, including numerous exposed ash pits, hearth pits, bones, shells, and pottery fragments. Weapons such as bronze dagger-axes, as well as a collection of fragments of daily-use items, have been unearthed here. During the Warring States period, the states of Lu and Qi, as well as Lu and Chu, held alliances here.

On June 23, 2015, the Ancient City of Yanggu Yi was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relic Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.
