Gaoshan Liushui Pavilion Gaoshan Liushui Pavilion is located northeast of Doumu Palace and on the western Pao Gao Ridge near Jingshiyu. It was built in the sixth year of the Longqing era of the Ming Dynasty (1572) by Wan Gong, the Right Censor-in-Chief of the Censorate and Supervisor of River Works and Military Affairs. The pavilion features corner beams, supporting corner beams, girders, and a single-ridge four-sloped roof, with bas-reliefs of tile ridges, drip tiles, and spouts. Horizontal panels are installed above the spaces between the pillars. Highlights

The scenery here perfectly captures the grand essence of the ancient guqin melody "High Mountains and Flowing Water." This is likely due to its association with the legendary story of the musical bond between Bo Ya and Zhong Ziqi. Introduction: On Mount Tai, within Jingshiyu, there stands a pavilion called Gaoshan Liushui, said to be the spot where Bo Ya once played his zither. The pavilion is a square stone structure with four pillars, measuring 6.1 to 6.6 meters on each side and standing 4.4 meters tall in total.
