A 1,000-Hydrangea Trail: A New Free Urban Flower-Viewing Hotspot

Every summer, hydrangeas bloom vibrantly, bursting into colorful, eye-catching blossoms across Taiwan, delighting visitors with their stunning beauty. In addition to mountainous areas like Yangmingshan and Nanzhuang in Miaoli, they can also be seen at the Liming Trail Garden in Taishan District, New Taipei City.

Originally just an ordinary community park, it has become a popular flower-viewing spot thanks to the approximately 1,000 colorful hydrangeas planted along the trail. As the floral display has improved in recent years, more and more visitors have come to admire the blooms, turning it into a hidden hydrangea gem in the city.

Pink is the dominant color of the hydrangeas in the garden. The trail extends over 100 meters, and along the way, besides hydrangeas, you can also enjoy hollyhocks, sunflowers, and bougainvillea, adding vibrant splashes of color to the urban landscape. The hydrangea blooming period lasts until mid-June. While not as spectacular as those in Zhuzihu, they offer a uniquely serene atmosphere.
