The Qin Terraces Stone Inscription on Mount Tai is located on the western side in front of the terrace of the Eastern Imperial Throne Hall in Dai Temple. It is the earliest stone inscription on Mount Tai. Originally situated near the Jade Maiden Pool at the summit of Mount Tai, it was later moved here multiple times. Highlights

The Qin Terraces Stone Inscription on Mount Tai bears inscriptions of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s achievements and the edict of the Second Emperor. The original text had 222 characters, but after enduring the test of time, only ten characters remain today: the seven complete characters “臣去疾臣请矣臣” and the three partially damaged characters “斯昧死”.
