Taishan Baotailong Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The products of the Taian City Taishan Baotailong Tourism Resort cover five major sectors: sightseeing and entertainment, leisure and vacation, dining and shopping, cultural experiences, and special performances. It is a top-tier high-end cultural tourism industrial park in China that integrates dining, lodging, transportation, travel, shopping, and entertainment.

At present, the main attractions completed include the Taishan Underground Grand Rift Valley sightseeing and rafting project, ground wetland landscape, water golf course, European-themed wedding park on water, and the country’s largest migratory bird release garden. The Taishan Underground Grand Rift Valley is a fault zone between Mount Tai and Mount Culai, stretching over 1,300 meters and closely connected to underground caves, offering an overall sightseeing length of more than 6,000 meters. The mysterious beauty of the stalactites inside the cave forms magical and wonderful scenes. Relying on the abundant underground water resources, a 4,000-meter underground river rafting course has been created, currently the longest of its kind in Asia.

Located in the western part of the resort, the Migratory Bird Release Garden is currently the largest bird conservation base in China, capable of releasing over 3,000 migratory birds at a time, allowing every visitor to experience the close interaction between humans and birds and enjoy a delightful vacation for the soul. The ground wetland landscape built within the resort surrounds the entire scenic area, forming a uniquely green wetland attraction in China. The water golf course constructed on the water system is a distinctive feature that combines sports, fitness, leisure, and entertainment.

An under-construction European-style hot spring town project within the resort aims to integrate exotic cultural elements with hot spring facilities to create a first-class holiday destination. The planned Shigandang Cultural Park will become a unique cultural tourism site themed around stone forest landscapes, adding a new highlight to cultural tourism.

Once all projects in the scenic area are completed, the spatial layout system of “one belt, two axes, four zones, and multiple nodes” will be fully established, enabling the resort to receive up to 3 million visitors annually and becoming a dark horse in Taian’s tourism industry. Furthermore, through in-depth exploration of cultural resources, the product offerings of the Greater Tai Mountain Cultural Tourism Circle will be further enriched and enhanced, strongly driving the rapid and healthy development of regional tourism.
