The Tai'an Old County Yamen is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Tai'an Old County Yamen Tourism and Cultural Scenic Area is situated along the historical and cultural axis of Tai'an City, with a long and rich history. Since the Song Dynasty, through the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, it has accumulated deep cultural roots. It was once the residence of Xiao Daheng, a prominent late-Ming official, the Tai'an County Yamen, and after the liberation, the site of the original Tai'an County Government.

The Tai'an Old County Yamen Tourism and Cultural Street Scenic Area features antique-style architecture modeled after the Ming and Qing dynasties, connected by covered walkways. It complements the classic ancient charm of Tongtian Street and the area around Dai Temple. The scenic area offers an elegant environment, comprehensive facilities, and a variety of attractions. It mainly consists of five parts: the Old County Yamen Museum, the Old County Yamen Tourism Commodity Supermarket, Xiao Daheng’s Former Residence, the Mount Tai Flavor Old Street, and the Mount Tai International Youth Travel Agency. Together, they form a distinctive tourism and cultural destination integrating sightseeing, accommodation, leisure, shopping, and dining, and it is recognized as a national AAA-level scenic area. The Old County Yamen Cultural Scenic Area has been successively awarded titles such as “Top Ten Brands of Tourism and Leisure Shopping in Shandong Province (Large-scale Comprehensive Tourism Shopping Venues),” “Top Ten Brands of Tourism and Leisure Shopping in Shandong Province (Specialty Tourism Shopping Stores),” “Designated Tourism Shopping Unit,” “Designated Mount Tai Tourism Shopping Unit,” “Gold-Level Shopping Store in Shandong Province,” and “Gold-Level Shopping Street in Shandong Province.”

With its classic Ming and Qing architectural style and unique Tai'an-themed tourist goods, plus a food street that gathers local delicacies and specialty cuisines of Tai'an... the Old County Yamen Tourism and Cultural Street fills a gap as a distribution hub for tourism commodities in Tai'an City, creating a uniquely characterized service industry cluster.
