Ancient Bo City

Ancient Bo City is a cultural relics protection unit of Shandong Province.

Ancient Bo City is located in Qiujiajian Town, Taishan District, Tai'an City. Dating back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, it was designated as part of the fourth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 2013.

Qiujiajian Town: Located at the eastern foot of Mount Tai and on the western bank of the Dawen River, Qiujiajian Town is 8 kilometers from downtown Tai'an. It borders Culai Town of Daiyue District to the east and south, faces Shengzhuang Town of Taishan District to the west, and neighbors Shankou Town and Zhuyang Town of Daiyue District to the north. On June 17, 1999, it was transferred from the suburban area of Tai'an City to Taishan District, where it remains today. It is the only township in Taishan District that is purely agricultural and rural. The current town covers an area of 74.3 square kilometers, has a population of 67,000, and includes 44 villages.
