Tai'an Mountain Village Culture Museum
The Tai'an Mountain Village Culture Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
The Tai'an Mountain Village Culture Museum in Tai'an City mainly exhibits the rural cultural and stone culture elements of the Mount Tai region. The two museums were built with self-raised funds by Jin Guo, covering an area of 3,000 m², with an exhibition area of about 2,600 m², and displaying more than 2,200 exhibits. Among them, the ancient Arabic versions of the "Quran" are extremely rare; a wide range of ancient fossils, seldom seen in China; and numerous relics from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties are abundant, bearing witness to the development of historical civilization and the evolution of the times. They also document the geological formation and structure of Mount Tai, serving as a model window of national memory and a base for the exchange and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture.
The Tai'an Mountain Village Culture Museum is a comprehensive museum that primarily reflects the characteristics of rural life, production, and historical changes. It is also a rural memory museum that expresses nostalgia and bears the imprints of homesickness. The exhibits mainly include sections on red culture, folk religion, farming and weaving, daily life, rural customs, transportation, shops and businesses, and architectural components.
To the west of the Tai'an Mountain Village Culture Museum is the Tai'an Mountain Stone Culture Museum, which reflects the biological changes of the Earth and the geological formation and structure of Mount Tai. The main exhibits are arranged in six sections: steles and stone carvings, ancient fossils, stone paintings and calligraphy, unique stones and curios, Mount Tai geology, and ancient texts and documents.
