Temple of Minzi

The Temple of Minzi is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Temple of Minzi, located in Damin Village, Wutai Township (present-day), was rebuilt in the 60th year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty; in the third year of the Yongzheng reign, an imperial plaque inscribed with “Exemplary Filial Piety of the Clan” was bestowed and hung in the center of the main hall. The main hall of the Temple of Minzi is 14 meters long from east to west, 8 meters wide from north to south, and 12 meters high. It features a double-beam structure, carved beams and painted rafters, supported by six massive pillars. The southern wall of the hall is adorned with 24 panels of camphorwood lattice doors, and the roof is covered with green glazed tiles, presenting a majestic and elegant ancient palatial architectural style. On both sides of the main hall are hidden towers with coiled dragon ridges. During the ten-year turmoil, the main hall was destroyed, and now only three side halls remain on the east and west sides respectively. The Temple of Minzi is a famous historical site in Yutai County. To strengthen its protection and management, it was designated as a municipal-level key cultural relic protection unit by the Jining Municipal People's Government in March 2013.

Zhanghuang Industrial Park is located within Zhanghuang Town and is one of the specialized chemical industrial parks approved by the Jining Municipal Government.
