Wuliqing Premium Green Tea is a famous brand product of Anhui and has been certified by the Organic Food Development Center of the State Environmental Protection Administration. It is primarily produced in Dashan Village and Shuangkeng Village, Xianyu Town, Shitai County, with some output also coming from Ruokeng Township, Qimen County, and Hongfang Township, Dongzhi County. It is a historically renowned tea, known as “Tender Sprout” in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Over 200 years ago, it was exported to Europe by the ancient merchant ship Gotheborg, where it was valued even more highly than jewelry. In the late 20th century, through the excavation and development by Anhui Tianfang Tea Industry Group, “Wuliqing” was brought back to life. Its characteristics include being grown in clouds and mist at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, with plump, tender single buds that are beautiful, entirely natural, pollution-free, and carry a hint of wild floral fragrance. The “Wuliqing” trademark has been recognized as a “Famous Trademark of Anhui Province.”

Anhui Tianfang Tea (Group) Co., Ltd. is a national poverty alleviation leading enterprise that produces Wuliqing Green Tea. The company is mainly engaged in the production, processing, sales of tea, tea substitutes, tea food, and travel products, as well as the development of tourist attractions themed around tea culture. The company successfully developed the classic famous tea “Wuliqing,” which, along with Tianfang Organic Selenium-Enriched Tea, was rated as an “Anhui Famous Brand Product.” Among these, Wuliqing Green Tea also won the Gold Award at the 7th China International Agricultural Products Fair in 2009. At the same time, Tianfang Eight-Treasure Chrysanthemum Tea and Tianfang Jiuhua Buddhist Tea were awarded the title of “Anhui Famous Brand Agricultural Products.” Currently, four of the company’s research achievements have passed provincial-level scientific and technological achievement appraisals, and the company holds 21 patents, including one invention patent.
