Viewing Fish Terrace, Viewing the State of Mind
As temperatures warm up, take the scenic area bus to the Viewing Fish Terrace. As you walk up the layered steps, occasionally distracted by the wildflowers around you, you’ll suddenly look up to find the Kanas Lake in the distance, bound to take your breath away.
Beneath a pale blue sky, with black-and-white mountain peaks, the sun rises in the east. The half-risen sun casts red rays through clouds that drift like ribbons, resting against the snow-capped peaks to the west that still retain their snowy caps. Bathed in the sunlight, the once cold and aloof white snow peaks no longer hold their stern, proud expressions. They resemble a guilty giant, blushing shyly, majestic yet also showing a touch of tenderness.
As you go higher and step onto the Viewing Fish Terrace, the entire Kanas Lake unfolds before your eyes—it is so tranquil, its blue surface as smooth as a mirror. It is so elegant, encircled by mountains and embraced by dense forests. The lake seems like a gemstone facet inlaid within nature. Suddenly, a few motorboats glide past, leaving long, graceful arcs on the water’s surface, adding a lively rhythm to Kanas.
