The Fish-Watching Pavilion at Kanas Lake, which took two years to build, now presents itself to the world with its enduringly elegant, towering, and uniquely abstract appearance. I believe that if this pavilion were built elsewhere, one would never guess the vision or intent of its designers and builders. But situated atop the mountains by Kanas Lake, it adds yet another layer of cultural charm to this already magical body of water.
