I. Scale and Benefits Beginning to Emerge. After years of development, Liying nursery stock has become a unique agricultural and green resource in the district and even the entire city. First, it has reached a preliminary scale. The nursery area has expanded to 68,000 mu, driving the development of nurseries in surrounding towns and villages, forming a total planting area of 150,000 mu across the district. Nearly 10,000 households are engaged in the nursery industry, among which over 1,000 earn an annual income of more than 100,000 yuan from nursery stock, over 208 earn more than 500,000 yuan, and 39 earn over 1 million yuan. Nursery stock has become the leading industry for enriching the people and strengthening the subdistrict. Second, there is a rich variety. There are over 200 varieties of nursery stock, mainly featuring deciduous trees such as French plane trees, Chinese scholar trees, weeping willows, and ash trees, supplemented by six major categories including evergreens, colored foliage, and arbor species, forming a diverse variety structure. Third, both supply and sales are booming. The average annual sales volume of various nursery stock reaches 120 million plants, with sales amounting to 500 million yuan, and the per capita income of nursery farmers exceeds 10,000 yuan. In 2007, the "Qiaohe King" trademark was successfully registered and selected as a "Shandong Provincial Famous Agricultural Product." In 2013, the 7th Chinese (Liying) Plane Tree Festival was successfully hosted, further enhancing the brand effect. Currently, the China Northern Premium Flower and Tree Distribution Center, covering an area of 3,352 mu with a total investment of 120 million yuan, is under accelerated construction, and the road network has been completed.

II. Gradual Extension of the Industrial Chain. The rapid development of the nursery industry has also given rise to a number of related industries, creating a "chain effect." First, landscaping engineering companies continue to grow. There are over 14 landscaping companies with qualifications of level 3 or above, with an annual turnover of 300 million yuan, having undertaken more than 200 greening projects such as Binhu Garden, Xiaobeihu, residential communities, and urban road renovations. Second, seedling transportation has developed rapidly. During peak sales seasons, over 200 vehicles come to Liying daily to transport nursery stock, and there are over 10 circulation enterprises mainly engaged in seedling distribution and transportation. Third, leisure fishing has begun to take shape. Leisure fishponds led by Shengtianxiang Qianhu Fish Park, Jinshan Fish Pond, and Tianyuan Fish Pond achieve an annual turnover of over 30 million yuan.

III. Effective Improvement of the Ecological Environment. First, the ecological environment is superior. The development of nursery stock has optimized the ecological environment, making it a "natural oxygen bar" in Jining City, attracting widespread attention and favor from all sectors of society. Every weekend and holiday, a large number of citizens come here to breathe fresh air and enjoy the unique natural scenery created by the nursery stock. Second, land resources are relatively concentrated. While developing the nursery industry, the subdistrict's land resources have been rationally transferred and utilized in a concentrated manner, with the establishment of a 1,000-mu premium nursery garden and 100-mu sightseeing spots. The nursery development is contiguous, with complete supporting facilities such as water, electricity, and roads. Third, ecological agriculture is beginning to take shape. Relying on Liying's nursery stock and water system resources, ecological tourism projects focusing on sightseeing, recreation, picking, and leisure have been vigorously developed. Four leisure tourism sites integrating planting, adoption, and picking—Shuimu Fairy Tale Garden, Beiliuzhuang Folk Village, Jiazhuang Yihe Ecological Park, and Guoshi Farm—have been preliminarily built and put into operation.
