The Geting Site

The Geting Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Geting Site is located in Ershilipu Subdistrict, Rencheng District, Jining City. It dates back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty. In 2013, the Geting Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Ershilipu Subdistrict: Ershilipu Town in Rencheng District is located 8 kilometers north of Jining City. It covers a total area of 67.8 square kilometers, with 75,000 mu of arable land, and governs 53 administrative villages with a population of 46,000. In the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it served as the seat of the Jining County government. In 1958, it became a people’s commune, in 1984, the commune was abolished and the township was established, and in May 1985, it was upgraded to a town.

It enjoys a superior geographical location and abundant resources. Ershilipu Town is situated at the junction of Rencheng, Wenshang, and Yanzhou counties, serving as the northern gateway to Jining City. The Rizhao–Dongming Expressway runs east-west across the town, and National Highway 105 runs north-south, providing very convenient transportation.
