Menjie Village Nine-Arch Bridge

The Menjie Village Nine-Arch Bridge is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Menjie Village Nine-Arch Bridge is located in Menjie Village, Tangkou Subdistrict, Rencheng District. Dating from the modern era as an important historical site and representative structure, it falls under the category of modern-era significant historical and representative architecture.

On December 26, 2016, the Jining Municipal People's Government announced it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jining City.

Tangkou Subdistrict: Located in the southwest of Jining City proper, Tangkou Subdistrict is 14.5 kilometers from the city center. Covering an area of 126 square kilometers, it governs 79 administrative villages with a population of 87,956 (2005). National Highway 105, Provincial Highway 251, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal run through the area. Local rivers include the Zhao Wang River, Zhu-Zhao Canal, Longgong River, and Jiliang Canal. To the east of Sihexia Village lies Sigudi (historically known as Xiangzangdui), and to the west of Liujie Village is the Liulin Site, both of which are provincial and municipal-level key cultural heritage protection units respectively.
