Xiaqiao

Xiaqiao is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

Xiaqiao is located in Jincheng Subdistrict, Rencheng District, Jining City, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, Xiaqiao was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Jincheng Subdistrict: Jincheng Subdistrict is situated in the western part of Jining’s urban center, covering an area of 4.75 square kilometers. It governs 11 community residents' committees and 3 administrative villages, with a permanent population of 87,600 and an actual resident population of 120,000. The natural population growth rate is 4.7‰. In 2012, the subdistrict achieved local fiscal revenue of 175.8 million yuan, ranking first in the district; completed investment attraction of 520 million yuan, exceeding the annual target by 130%; attracted 48 projects, including 18 with a planned total investment of over 100 million yuan and 2 mega-projects exceeding 1 billion yuan.
